I didn't want to get her the usual perfume, chocolates or CD, I wanted it to be something more unique, especially as it was her 50th.

Then, while driving home one day, I saw Picture This..., in Lincoln Road, Skegness, and noticed it had a photography studio.

I popped in and met owners Kate and Tim Waite who told me all about their fantastic photography service.

They explained professional photographer Michael Fagan would take a selection of high key portrait photos during a one hour sitting in the MF Studio.

I was told I could take as many family members, friends and even pets as I wanted.
The studio sittings start at £75.00, which includes the one hour photo shoot and a framed 10" x 12" photograph.

I decided to get my sister, our younger brother and dog Buster involved and arranged the sitting for the following week.

The sitting was great fun! Michael made us all feel really relaxed and we had lots of fun doing posed pictures, as well as shots of us messing around.

About a week later we were invited back to see the pictures.

We were ushered to a comfy leather sofa by Kate and handed a drink before watching all our pictures appear on the plasma TV screen in front of us.

The pictures looked amazing and we were able to choose our favourites.

Picture This… offers print only, framed images, canvasses and stylish acrylics which hold up to 16 images.

We also bought a DVD of our experience which we thought would be a nice touch for mum as it would show her the fun we had creating her present.
