Rump Steak

Sent to us by Sharon Hughes from Melton Mowbray, this is her own recipe and is very it is versatile.

INGREDIENTS

Rump Steak Medium size Chopped in to chunks
New Potatos with skins on
Thyme Dried or Fresh
Olive Oil
Yellow Pepper
Small Onion Chopped finely
Tomato Puree
Tomato Sauce
Garlic Paste

METHOD
 
1.
Put garlic paste, tomato puree, olive oil and half
chopped onion into bowl and stir.

2. Put in the chopped up beef steak and leave to marinade for 10 mins approx. When marinated put into a casserole dish with new potatos yellow peppers cut into thin strips and pour over olive oil and shake an even spread of
thyme over all the ingredients.

3. Shake the contents of the casserole dish and put into oven for 45 mins or until the meat is tender.

4. Take out the oven and serve on to plates with a small side salad.
