Spinach and Sesame Salad
Serves 4

INGREDIENTS

675g / 1.5lb Fresh Spinach
Salt and Black Pepper
2 tbsp Sesame Seeds
2 teasp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
 

 

METHOD

1. Trim the spinach and wash under running water. Put into a saucepan with only the water that clings to it and a little salt. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Drain thoroughly and put into a serving dish. Leave to cool completely.
 
2. Put the sesame seeds into a small saucepan and dry fry until golden. Grind lightly. Add the oil and soy sauce and season to taste. Pour over the spinach and chill for 30 minutes.
 
3. Toss lightly before serving.
